Extra Credit Emoji Project

For the emoji project I thought it would be really cool to make Drew themed emojis. I think having a Drew dragon emoji would be really cool.

Good Mistakes

I really liked the way this picture turned out even though it ended up being really blurry. When I first took the picture and saw that I hadn't focused the camera before taking the photo, I was going to delete it but after looking at it for a while I found that I liked the blurry quality to the photo. I liked how it almost looks like watercolor with no defined lines.
I liked the way this picture turned out even though I didn't originally like the dark line in the middle of the photo. When it was raining I was trying to capture the droplets dropping into the puddles and I didn't really like the shadow that ended up in the picture but after I looked at it for a while I liked the way that it added something more to the photo.

This picture wasn't completely a mistake but I was trying to take a picture of the street but when the bus came by I was really happy because the way the bus looks when it's moving looks really cool. I really liked the way that most of the picture is clear while the bus is blurry.
At first, I was trying to take a picture of the mailbox at a normal angle but at the last minute I moved the camera because I thought it had already taken the picture. I kind of liked the way this turned out because it almost looks like the mailboxes are moving.
When I was experimenting with taking pictures of water, I wasn't really sure what interesting forms I could capture of water. When I first took this picture I was thinking of editing it in some way to make it more interesting but after I looked at it for a while I liked the way the water looked going down the water fountain even though it's not something you notice when you're using a water fountain.
This was our first try at light drawing when we were taking pictures and even though we were not successful with writing the word Love, I liked the way this picture turned out. I really liked the way the faucets looked in the dark and it's still a really interesting picture.
I didn't originally plan to use this photo for photography class but I took a picture of the drain to show my friend how many leaves had built up. After I saw the photo larger on my computer I found that I really liked the composition in the picture and I thought the little area of sidewalk that you can see made the picture more interesting and colorful.

Photo Editing Experiment

I really liked how this picture turned out because when I originally took the picture, I didn't like how boring the reflection in the water was but when I added the galaxy filter in the reflection I thought it made the picture look more interesting.

I thought the way this picture turned out was really interesting because from this picture I noticed that the texture of the picture changes the way everything in the picture looks. This started out as a picture of a fence but when you change the texture it looks like it could be part of a quilt.

When I first started editing this picture I was trying to make the bench behind me disappear completely but I used the wrong tool and made this instead. I thought it looked really cool and I ended up liking this picture more than the picture I was originally intending to create.

I really liked how this picture turned out after I used the polarizing filter because the texture of the rocks look really interesting. I really liked this because it showed key colors in the picture, and the final scene looks almost like a drawing with the lines on the trees.

For this picture I used a filter that made it look like there was rain going over the leaf. I thought it was interesting because when you take a picture of something when it's raining you never get the lines that you can see when it's raining. The reason why this photo looks a little unrealistic is because you can see the lines when normally, using a regular camera you cannot capture the lines of water.
In this picture I experimented with colors and made everything much brighter. I really liked this picture in contrast with the original. I really liked how the color seemed to change the mood of the picture. When the colors are brighter, they're much most exaggerated and made the mood of the picture lighter.

I really liked the way this picture turned out because it almost looks like a cartoon now. I liked how it became something that someone could draw instead of a really realistic picture.

Light Painting and Levitation

I really like this picture because when we took this we were finally able to cover more space with the light. When we first started we didn't realize how much we needed to move the flashlights to create a big block of light.
I also really liked this picture because the rest of composition of the picture makes you focus in on the light drawing instead of anything else in the background.
We were trying to draw a heart in this one and it was really hard because you can't really see what you're doing until the picture is taken so drawing a heart was a lot more complicated than it normally is.
I really liked this picture because we were able to successfully draw a spiral which was really hard because it was really hard to tell where we had already shone the light and sometimes it would just look like a giant circle.
Taking this picture was really fun because we were trying to experiment with different ways to create unique shapes and for this one we tried moving around instead of staying in one place.
I really like this picture because of all the circles. In this picture we were trying to draw circles and lines and I think the drawing in this picture turned out really well.
I really like this picture because it was one of the first one we took and we were still experimenting on how we could get the best levitation picture. I thought that levitation photos are really fun to take because you have to take the picture just at the right moment.
I thought this picture was really cool because she jumped really high and I really like the pose in this one because we were trying to do everyday things while being in the air to make it more interesting.
I really like this picture because I think the pose is really funny and she almost looks like a genie. I thought this picture turned out really well because you can't really tell that she's jumping.
This picture was also one of our first pictures and this was taken right before I hit the ground which I thought was really cool because I'm off the ground but it also looks like it's really windy while I'm standing a little above the pavement.
I really like this picture because it looks like I'm jumping really high and it barely looks like I'm jumping because the photo turned out really clear.
I really like this picture because it almost looked like someone starting to fly just as they were drinking some water because her legs are pointing downward. I noticed that the more we took the pictures the easier it was to jump at the right height where it was easiest for the person taking the picture to capture it.

Slow Shutter

This was the first picture I took. I really liked how blurry the bus was in contrast to the in focus buildings behind it.
For this picture I was trying to make one of the mailboxes more in focus than the other. It kind of worked but I would have liked it more if I had better framing.
For this subject I tried to make the slow shutter design interesting while at the same time capturing the texture of the rocks. This was my first attempt and I would have liked it if there was more of a circle pattern in the middle of the photo
I liked this picture more than the first one because I thought the pole closer to the middle made the picture look more interesting. I also thought that the circles created by the slow shutter were better in this picture.
I really liked this picture because of the design in the lines. Even though it is really blurry I like how constant the lines making up the pictures are.
I really liked this picture because if saw the building that I took a picture of you would still recognize it through the blurry photo. I also liked it because I liked the colors that made up the photo.
 It was really hard to
This was my favorite picture out of all of them because I really liked how in focus the car was while the rest of the scene was moving. I thought it looked really cool because it almost looks like a car going through a tunnel.
This picture reminded me of the designs you see in old glass windows. I noticed that when you spun the camera with the slow shutter that you got really cool designs.
I was tryin to focus on the stoplight for the middle of the picture but it was a little off center. I still like how as you get farther away from the center the blurrier the photo gets.

Silhouettes and Minimalism

Minimalism:

I thought minimalism was a really hard theme to take pictures of because I'm more drawn towards bright things with a lot of detail. For me it was really hard to find minimalistic things to photograph. I liked this picture because if the paint had been in perfect shape it would have changed the picture and I liked the random cracks in the paint.
I liked this picture because I think streets are very interesting. I was hoping that this had minimalistic qualities because of the blandness of the sidewalk but also be interesting because of the crack.

I really liked this picture because you can't really tell what it is an it's very minimalistic in that nothing is really going on. But I rally liked the dent towards the bottom of the picture because I thought it made it look more interesting.
I liked this picture because of the texture of the pain on the wall. I thought that it made it look more interesting because it wasn't a completely smooth wall.

For my minimalist pictures I focused on minding textures that I liked because finding something so simple was really hard for me.
I really likes looking at the silhouettes of the trees against the sky so I wanted to capture different kinds of trees in different colored skies. I really liked this one because you could really see all the details on the branches.
I really liked this picture because the branches were really thin so you could see the colored sky behind the tree. I really like taking pictures of sunset and I liked incorporating the silhouettes in with the sky.
For this picture, I tried to take the trees from a different angle from the other pictures showing that you can still see the silhouettes of the trees against the sky.
This was my favorite picture because I really liked the sunset and I thought the trees in the foreground made it really complete. The silhouettes of the trees were a large part of the picture and I really liked how this picture turned out.
Even though this picture came out a little blurry I liked how the blurry branches looked against the sky. I also liked how the tree kind of faded into the silhouette of the rooftops.
